David on reception is an absolute star. He salvaged our honeymoon after we were fleeced by another hotel. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice. There's also a tuck tuck service provided by the hotel to the local beach, where there are sun loungers and umbrellas free for hotel guests. Its a super chilled hotel. Just what is needed when enjoying the sicilian sunshine.
The room rates were very reasonable. Staff were super smiley and helpful.
Nice hotel, good food. Air con. Lovely space by the small pool to relax. So far no worries. If you like a smallish quiet friendly hotel this is it.
Amazing hotel, very clean and spacious, friendly service and staff all around. Great private beach with chairs, bar, excursions in the water and aerobics in the water 2 times a day.
If you want a relaxed and quiet vacation in Cefalu, choose this hotel. It is quaint and tranquil. The location is just 5 minutes away from the very busy and noisy centre. The staff is very corial. The breakfast is abbundant and various. The only thing I did not like was the small shower. One could hardly move.

I stayed here for 4 days and had an enjoyable stay. The rooms are spacious and have a fridge and safe. There is a swimming pool tennis court. The bar is next to the pool The food is good. Two beaches are a short walk , one rocky the other sandy. Cufal is a 15 minute drive
A one star hotel not even making a good attempt at being two star.
The evening menu had no choice other thana very poor attempt at vegetarian.
The shower was tiny and it was not possible to bend when in it.
The alcohol prices were double what the bars were charging in the nearby town.
The pool had freezing cold water you needed a wet suit to use it.
Cheap and cheerfull hardly covered the hotel.
For a one star it could pass!!
The whole area was infested with mosquitos and the hotel air conditioning was not working so most of our party slept with the windows open and were bitten; some with 20 to 30 bites.
The hotel had no interest in sprays or insect killers for the rooms and the maids left the windows and doors open during the day whilst we were out. Very happy to leave it.
We had an amazing stay at Hotel Baia del Capitano. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very well equipped with all the necessities. The staff is friendly and professional and the hotel is well located for those who want to stay near the beach and with a short drive from the city, the hotel has an amazing view on Cefalu. I totally recommend this amazing hotel.
